If Little Darlings were to be made into a film, who would play Destiny?
Dixie is the youngest of the Diamond family. Mum has always tried to teach Dixie and her sisters, dreamy Martine, glamorous Rochelle and tough Jude, the value of sticking together. Now Mum's expecting yet another baby and she's convinced this one's a boy. Time to move to a bigger place, she insists, and the girls scarcely have time to protest before they find themselves at their new house. It's rough, dilapidated and filthy and before they've even unpacked the furniture, Mum goes into labour! By the time Mum comes home with the new baby, Jude's been in a fight, Rochelle's found a new boyfriend and Martine's stormed off.
Only Dixie stays loyally by Mum's side – so only Dixie spots her secret . . .
im reading the diamond girls and so far it is brilliant.dixie is my favriote character so far and i think it is so funny when the mum does all this fortune telling. you are great.

I'm still reading this book at the moment but so far a really love it i do recomend it to anyone who likes these sort of books when i found out about mary and how her mum was treating her i was really shocked

OMG!!!! This book should be recommended for 12+ i think. With Mary's mum and Martine getting pregnant! I think its so funny when Dixie finds out mums secret about the baby. I cracked up laughing when i read it again and again.

The best book ever! It is brilliant!! Rochelle is okay in the end, Martine is abit silly, but she knows it, Jude is a bit violent, and Dixie is genuinely nice :)
