Moved from place to place, she has little sense of who she really is. Now April is fairly happily settled with her foster mother, Marion. But she's desperate to recall what happened in the intervening years, and to see if she can find out where she really came from in the first place.
In 2008 Dustbin Baby was made into a BBC film starring Dakota Blue Richards (who also starred as Lyra in The Golden Compass). It was shown on BBC1 at Christmas 2008 and Jacqueline herself loved it!

This book was absolutely AMAZING!!!!!!!!! I loved every second when I was reading this brilliant book. Its so funny because my teacher at my old school try to get me off the Jacqueline Wilson books but whatever he did, it just didn't work!

i read this bookn the way to portugal and the plane was 4 hrs nd i read it nd evn getn off the plane i had it in my hands,. could not put it down at all and i finished it tat nite,..<3 it best book evr
