If you could be any Jacqueline Wilson character who would you be?
Favourite book . . .
I'm reading an adult book about whales called Leviathan – it's very interesting but very sad too.
Favourite place . . .
Hay-on-Wye in Wales – I love browsing in the bookshops and going for walks along by the river.
Favourite gallery . . .
I love going to the National Gallery whenever I'm in London. It's got the most fabulous collection of masterpieces – and it's completely free! I just look at a few paintings at a time: at Christmas I might look at ten Nativity paintings, or in the Summer I might seek out seaside pictures. I go on a dragon hunt or look for children or little dogs in paintings, or see how many different colour combinations of angel's robes and wings I can find.
Favourite museum . . .
I'm a member of the V&A Museum in South Kensington. That's free too, mostly but their special exhibitions often have queues, and members don't need tickets. There was a wonderful exhibition of all Kylie's clothes a year or two ago – it was fabulous! I went there a lot to look at the glass gallery too, when I was writing Kiss.
Favourite outfit . . .
I'm very fond of my new black leather jacket – and my ankle boots
Favourite animal . . .
I'm still thinking about a little poodle . . . but am definitely going to look at a cat rescue centre after my October tour. Perhaps I'd like a little grey one, with white paws. Or perhaps just the one that likes me best!
Favourite TV show . . .
I love watching the X Factor, and Britain's Got Talent – but will be glued to Strictly Come Dancing. I love to dance and wish I was fit enough to do even one round!
Favourite food . . .
I love cauliflower cheese. I would happily eat it every single day!
