If you could be any Jacqueline Wilson character who would you be?
It’s been lovely getting so many emails and letters saying you love my new book, Little Darlings, and my special Jacqueline Wilson magazine! I’ve had such a fantastic month meeting so many of you while I was on tour – and I feel I’ve made many very special friends in Dubai too. I’ve come home to a mountain of work now. I’m feeling stressed that I can’t reply to all of you. I promise I read absolutely everything – but then I can only reply to just a few of you. As it is, I stay up late lots of evenings sifting through my postbags. Perhaps I should try and clone myself, and then a whole team of Jacqueline Wilsons could write back to each and every child! Maybe I should train Jacob to put his special paw print on a postcard? He always gets very interested when I’m writing, and loves to knock the pen out of my hand and play football with it across the carpet. He’s getting very bold, running all over my neighbour’s garden and climbing lots of trees – but thank goodness he always comes back to me. He still wakes me up every morning, jumping up onto my bed for a cuddle.I can’t wait to see Nick’s first illustrations for my October book. Meanwhile, I’ve started yet another story, and I’m on chapter three so far. It’s about . . . no, I’ll keep you guessing at this stage!Have a very Happy Easter and don’t eat too many chocolate eggs.
