If you could be any Jacqueline Wilson character who would you be?
February was an incredibly busy month! I toured up and down the country for two weeks, and it was fantastic to meet so many of you. I also put the finishing touches to my sequel to Hetty Feather, and I’ve just delivered Sapphire Battersea to my agent. Hetty’s story still isn’t finished. There’s definitely going to have to be a third book about her, so we’ll have a proper Hetty trilogy.
Just in case you think I’ve wandered back into the 1890s forever, I’d like to tell you that my next book is bang up to date, about two sisters. They love each other to bits, but they’re very different girls, and always arguing! While I was on tour I asked lots of girls how they got on with their sisters. It was very illuminating! Do send me an email to let me know the worst thing about your sister. I’m especially interested if you have to share a bedroom.
I can’t decide where I want to go on holiday this year. What are all your holiday plans? Which has been your best holiday ever? I think my problem is that I don’t want to leave my cat Jacob, though he’s beautifully looked after by my friend Bryony when I’m away. Thank you so much for all your lovely comments about Jacob. I keep picking him up and cuddling him and telling him he’s famous.
