If you could be any Jacqueline Wilson character who would you be?
I went to Richmond Park today to see the azaleas and rhododendrons in the Isabella Plantation. They were looking wonderful, all different shades of pink and purple. For those of you who have read my latest book Lily Alone, the Isabella Plantation is very similar to the 'magic garden' in the book! Lily doesn't know much about flowers, so she thinks they're all roses. I passed lots of huge hollow oak trees too, where four small children could just about sleep, all squashed up together. I had a little picnic too - but I promise I brought my own food, I didn't help myself to anyone else's!
There's going to be a very exciting exhibition about me at the Seven Stories children's gallery in Newcastle. It's just at the planning stage at the moment, but it all sounds very promising. I think there's going to be a section about Jacqueline Wilson fans all over the world. I know you do, but I've never counted up just how fans email from so many different countries. How about sending me a special message this month so I get a rough idea!
You were all wonderfully helpful telling me stories about your sisters - and giving me suggestions for great holidays! Thank you all very much indeed. I do wish it was possible to write back to each of you individually. You're also very sweet sending me so many special get-well messages. They worked wonderfully. I'm completely better now.
