If you could be any Jacqueline Wilson character who would you be?
Dear Jacqueline Wilson
What do I say? Ok, this sounds stupid but for all of today I have been asking everyone I know "What should I say in my email to Jacky?", and everyone gave me different ideas but none of them seemed.....right. So here it goes.
My favorite book that was ever written is Hetty Feather. I lived with Hetty in the Foundling Hospital, played with her and Polly, met Jem, got poked by Saul and danced around in happiness when Hetty found her real mother. Hetty plays with me in my daily life and I have such fun. If I feel upset or angry Hetty will scream and cry with me. (She is best at screaming) I have such fun with your characters, I have got lots of my friends interested in your books and they adore them like me.
I'm 11 years old and I have read 33 of your books, once when I was reading Hetty Feather my dog Daisy came snuffling up and sniffed the books and watched the words! It proves that everyone and everything loves your books! Even my 8 year old brother asked me to recite the whole story of Hetty Feather in the car on the way to school!!
A while ago in school, everyone in our class had to do a biography on there favorite Celebrity and they did the usual David Beckam, Miley Cyrus, Wayne Rooney, Taio Cruz and all the boring Celebrities. I thought "I'm not going to be boring like them! I'm going to do Jacqueline Wilson and prove that Authors have fascinating lives too!" Mrs. Booth (our Teachers Assistant) said "I've met Jacqueline Wilson! She's a kind, gentle, woman!" I went home and thought very hard about you. I thought "I doubt I can meet her but maybe I can get an email?" So please Jacky, please can you reply to my email? I know this will sound so stupid but I would print your email and frame it! It would be my treasure forever, and it will prove my role model cares about me. If it's not Jacky reading this can you please pick my email for Jacky to read?
Yours Sincerely
Jessica O'Rourke

P.S My Dad has just ordered your newest book Lily Alone!
P.P.S Please, please, please can you reply! It would be my biggest wish come true!!
Dear Jess,
I’m so pleased you like Hetty Feather so much. I do hope you like the sequel Sapphire Battersea when it comes out this October. I hope Daisy will approve too!
Love from Jacqueline Wilson
Hiya, Jacky! I was given a project for school, about WW2, and I asked if I could a story. If you want to read it, I've attatched it to this email! ๒гא๏ภאє๓คเl ๓є ๒คςк!
Dear Bryony,
I thought your story about the second world war was brilliant and very moving. You did so much research, and imagined it all very vividly. I bet your teacher was thrilled. Well done!
Dear Jacky
My name is Rebecca, I'm 11 years old and I live in Scotland. You might already know that because I've sent you an email before but you never replied . As I said in my last email, when I am older I want to be an author just like you, so I was hoping you could give me some writing tips. I have lots of questions I'd like to ask you (some are quite silly) :
1. Have you ever wanted to do anything different with your career?
2. Do you eat chips with a fork, or your hands?
3. Do you prefer rain, sun, or snow?
4. Which do you prefer, McDonald's or Burger King?
5. If you were to have one wish, what would you wish for?
6. What is the most embarrassing thing that ever happened to you?
7. Do you prefer crisps or sweets?
8. What is your favourite T.V programme?
9. If you had to change your name, what would you change it to?
10. Which do you like better, love hearts or stars?
11. Who is your favourite character in the Illustrated Mum ? (Mine is Owly)
12. Do you prefer pens or pencils?
Pretty pretty please with a cherry on top email back soon
Rebecca
Dear Rebecca,
You’re getting a reply this time – and I’ll try to answer all your questions!
1. I’ve never wanted to do anything different with my career – I’m very happy with the way things have gone!
2. I eat chips with a fork – unless I’m eating them out of a bag going home!
3. I prefer sun – lots of it.
4. I’m not to keen on McDonald’s or Burger King. If I want a quick snack I’ll go to a Pret a Manger.
5. I would wish to be happy and healthy!
6. I fell flat on my face at my first posh dance.
7. I prefer crisps to sweets.
8. My favourite family T.V. programme is probably the X Factor.
9. I’ve always loved the name Charlotte.
10. I’ll go for stars.
11. I love Dolphin best – but I’ve got a very soft spot for Owly too.
12. I much prefer pens, because I can never find my pencil sharpener.
Clever questions, Rebecca!
