A wild imagination!

Dear Jacky,

I know you probably might not get the time to read this message but I've been thinking...

On your fan site the pictures are all of main characters. What's wrong with that? Nothing! Nothing at all! It's just I think some of the supporting roles in your books deserve some credit.

My favourite character is Amy from Sleepovers. I love her because she's bubbly, kind and willing to stick up for her friends. (She also has an AMAZING cake so that's a bonus)
Anyway why don't you try and get pictures of some of the supporting roles because some girls (I don't know this of course) like me would print one out to make into a paper doll.

Like you Jacky, I have a HUGE imagination. I play imaginary games even though I'm 13 and play with teddies not so much dolls but I love Sylvanian Families, like Andy in The Suitcase Kid. She (and one of my best friends) helped me get into them so thank you for that. Anyway I hope this email wasn't wasting any of your mega precious time so thanks for being the author you are

P.S I have to enter a competition to make a recipe with lamb or beef mince. If you have time, could you give me some original ideas? Thanks

Jacqueline's reply...

Dear Nicole

Thank you for your lovely long email. I love it that you’re interested in some of the supporting characters in my books. I’m rather fond of Amy in Sleepovers too. Perhaps we should start a little competition, seeing who other people might pick. Then maybe I could put them in a new book!

It’s great that you like playing imaginary games. I used to adore playing with my paper dolls. I wish I still had them.

I’m afraid I’m not a good cook – and I don’t really like lamb of beef mince. I think you’ll have to ask someone else. Good luck!
