Secrets illustration competition!
Secrets tell the story of Treasure and India, two unhappy girls who each long for a best friend to call their own. Despite very different backgrounds, the girls become best friends and bond over their heroine, Anne Frank.
To celebrate the makeover of the book with a brand new cover, we’re holding a competition…
Are you a budding illustrator? Is Nick Sharratt your role model? If so, this competition is for you!
For our Secrets competition, we’d like for YOU to send us an illustration of your favourite scene from the book. Once you have completed your illustration, upload it to the Gallery here, we’ll judge the competition in April and the winner will receive an iPod shuffle! We’ll also send 5 runners up a copy of Secrets!
We want to see lots of creativity and imagination, so break open your paints, grab your pens
and get drawing!

Competition Terms & Conditions
By entering this competition, you agree to accept and be bound by these terms and conditions.
This competition is open to anyone aged 13 or over who is a resident of the UK or the Republic of Ireland, except for employees of The Random House Group Limited (the promoter), its subsidiary companies, their families and any other company connected with the competition. The promoter cannot accept entries from entrants aged 12 or under and parents or guardians must enter on their behalf.
The closing date for the competition is midnight GMT 22nd of April 2013 (closing date). Entries received after the closing date will not be considered. Responsibility will not be accepted for lost or damaged entries, whether due to system error or otherwise. Proof of entering the competition via www.jacquelinewilson.co.uk is not proof of the promoter’s receipt of entry.
The prize is an iPod Nano (the prize), five runners-up will each receive a copy of Jacqueline’s book, Secrets.
Events may occur which render the awarding of the prize impossible due to reasons beyond the control of the promoter and the promoter may, at its absolute discretion, vary, amend or suspend the prize with or without notice.
The competition will be judged within 10 days of the closing date (i.e. by 2nd May 2013) and the winner will be notified by email within 13 days of the closing date (i.e. by 5th May 2013)
The winner agrees to the promoter’s use of their name, town of residence and photograph in relation to the promoter’s publicity material.
The promoter will use your personal information only for the purposes of this competition. Your personal details will not be kept on file by the promoter and will not be passed on to any third parties.
The winner’s name will be available upon the promoter’s receipt of a stamped addressed envelope.
The promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into in relation to the competition.
