Alice Moonlight Tulips,
I agree with you about the games that require you to have friends [how do you even get friends?]
And I like the idea about having pets too, it will make the game more fun with them! I think tablet- friendly games are a must, as some people struggle to play them without the latest flash player. I also think that the idea about having the speech programmed like Animal Jam would be cool, as it wouldn't take as long to moderate.
Like if you all agree,
Poppy Sparkle Sweetheart. :)

i think we should be able to:

walk in the town
have a pet
get coins by doing different things Eg. 10 for theatre/10 for games/sending sweets or dresses-20
have a quicker upload
go in shops
clothe your avatar
go on misions like Eg.helping hetty beat matron (stinking!) bottomly/help the girls in sleepovers make freinds ect.
have all stories put in the public library if it is more than 1 chapter long
have more games on here

like if you agree.if over 30 people like, maybe something will happen!:-D:-D:-D:-D

I think there should be a way to contact people separately, rather than just posting stuff that everyone can see.😊
Also, I think that posts shouldn't be cut off.😊
Only suggestions.

I think that this site should be where you make your own character and instead of your avatar, your character appears on all the comments you make, and also that you can walk around town with your person and chat to people walking around the Town as well. I think this because it will make your account/profile more unique and it will stand out from others on the site.
Do you think its a good idea?:)

by Poppy Sparkle Sweetheart at 1:00 pm Mon 13 Mar 2017 | Likes: 12

Heya for the 3rd time
Ok I know I have repeated this but two things we desperately need: Faster moderation and a App so this works on my phone! Also most features are just downloads which is annoying, how does the friend thing work btw, I think being able to create your character is next up on the great ideas list since to be honest the character that looks most like me is Lily and lily looks nothing like me.You should make it so you can move ur character around and talk to other players without gossip, is there a way to share pictures of drawings on this if not make a gallery type place wh

A games page could be awesome as there ae only 1 or 2 games on this website but lots of colouring and activity sheets. I also love the idea of having coins that you can win and you could spend them on pets and extra furniture and toys. I wish that on the town map you could buy and build houses and go into shops and buy things with coins!!! If any of this happens I will be sooooo happy :-D I cant wait for this website to grow and expand.

by Renata Bunny at 11:18 am Thu 2 Mar 2017 | Likes: 12

A section in the town map which you click on and can design your own house/flat and let only people you want to visit it.
A bigger the gossip section
More avatars from new books
In the public library an extract of all the books

by Nadine Tropical at 3:59 pm Wed 1 Mar 2017 | Likes: 20

I really like the idea about coins. Perhaps if you comment on gossip you get 10 coins. If you make a bridesmaid dress or watched a trailer in the theatre you get 5 coins. I also like the idea of a virtual pet. Also you could create a station where you could create your own Jaqueline Wilson character avatar then write a biography for them. For example:
name: Dakota Smith
looks:Long brown hair, big green eyes.

The Gossip: Tips

These are to make The Gossip easier and suitable for you all to use. Messages containing the following might not necessarily be deleted but they might be edited to make them appropriate:

  • Use a SPOILER alert! If you are giving away plots about any of Jacqueline’s books so other users who may not have read the book will know you are giving away some of the story. This is what the SPOILER alert is for. Think ‘By saying this, am I going to SPOIL the enjoyment of the book for people who haven’t read it?’ To add a spoiler alert just type – in CAPS to make it more impactful – SPOILER ALERT! At the start of your message!
  • Try not to post repetitive topics, for example: before starting a new topic, check if someone else has already started a similar one, you could join their chat.
  • Avoid typing rows and rows of emoticons or single letters or characters like exclamation marks – messages packed with these only clog up the system and we’ll probably delete them so they don’t block other messages
  • Stay on topic of other posted threads. Make sure you read what others have written and you are responding to that conversation. If you want to start a new topic, think about what you want to talk about and make sure you title your topic clearly.
  • Watch your sense of humour, posts may be read by people from a variety of backgrounds and ages.
  • Talking about sensitive subjects: We think it’s great that you feel you can post your dilemmas and give advice to each other. However, we won’t be allowed to post problems of a very serious nature. If you feel like you’re in trouble and have no-one or no-where to turn, please contact Childline who will be able to help you: 0800 1111
  • And finally, please be patient! Because we have to check every message for all of the above, and because so many of you are using The Gossip, sometimes it can take a while for your message to appear. If you’ve respected the above rules and guidelines then your message WILL appear eventually

Despite the above Tips and our vigilance, if you strongly feel that any particular post should not be on the board then please do email us at jacky@jacquelinewilson.co.uk.

Cookies help us keep track of how our visitors (or more accurately, their computers) use our site, including such things as the type of browser they use, the frequency of their visits and the pages that are most popular. They can help smooth your travel through our site by keeping track of information that has already been provided by your computer so that you do not need to re-enter it.
