She’s intimidated by all the confident, pretty girls at school, who call her ‘Ugly’ and she’s terrified of her dad and his unpredictable moods. If it wasn’t for Beauty’s sweet and gentle mum, Beauty would be a very lonely little girl indeed. Beauty utterly adores her mum, who is equally as frightened of Beauty’s dad.
Then Beauty’s mum makes a huge decision in the hope of making life happier for Beauty and herself. Together they move away to a town by the seaside to build a new life.
